How Ghana Growers handles submitted information

Ghana Growers collects information so farmers can be reviewed, buyers can submit demand, suppliers can be listed, and the team can follow up on real agricultural enquiries.

Ask Mama G, Crop Doctor and AI processing

Ask Mama G sends your question and relevant consultation context, including answers to follow-up questions, to OpenAI when the AI service is available. Crop Doctor sends the uploaded crop image and any selected crop or symptom to OpenAI to generate guidance. Do not include sensitive personal information or upload photos containing people or personal documents.

These tools can be incomplete or mistaken. Crop-photo results are guidance, not a confirmed diagnosis. Check product labels and seek qualified local advice for important crop, chemical or safety decisions.

A device identifier is stored in your browser and converted to a hash on the server for usage and credit checks. Usage records include the tool and time used. Consultation state and selected weather location may also be held in your browser. Weather lookups use the selected location. The current Crop Doctor AI route processes the photo in the request; it does not publish the photo as a directory image.

Public registration, enquiry and feedback submissions are currently unavailable. This page does not promise a particular AI-provider retention period or immediate deletion.

Information Ghana Growers collects

Ghana Growers collects information people submit through registration forms, buyer request forms, listing submissions, lead forms, contact forms, and admin review workflows.

This may include names, farm or business names, phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, regions, districts, products, services, farm details, buyer demand, photos, and messages.

Contact and partnership enquiries may include your name, email address, optional phone or WhatsApp number, organisation, subject or partnership interest, and message. Ghana Growers uses this information to review and respond to your enquiry. This information is handled privately and is not displayed publicly.

How the information is used

The information helps Ghana Growers review profiles, prepare public listings, manage buyer demand, match requests, follow up on leads, verify records, and continue improving the platform as the network grows.

Ghana Growers may use contact details to follow up about a registration, buyer request, supplier enquiry, verification issue, or partnership message.

Farmer profiles

Farmer profiles may show public information such as farmer or farm name, region, district, products, farm type, public photo, verification status, and marketplace listings.

Detailed review notes, import records, and admin-only fields are meant for internal Ghana Growers review and should not be shown publicly.

Supplier profiles

Supplier profiles may show public information such as company or contact name, category, region, district, products or services, service coverage, website, image, and verification status.

Suppliers should only submit information they are comfortable Ghana Growers reviewing and, where approved, publishing.

Buyer requests and leads

Buyer requests may include product needed, quantity, region, district, buyer type, deadline, and notes. Ghana Growers reviews requests before publishing or matching them.

Lead requests help Ghana Growers understand who wants to contact a farmer, supplier, or listing owner. Ghana Growers may use these details to support follow-up.

Contact information

Phone, WhatsApp, and email details are used for review and follow-up. Ghana Growers may choose not to expose direct contact details publicly when a reviewed connection request is safer.

Users should not submit another person's contact details unless they have permission to do so.

Data protection and corrections

Ghana Growers aims to keep records accurate and useful. If a profile, request, or listing is wrong, contact Ghana Growers so the record can be reviewed, corrected, archived, or removed from public display.

As the platform grows, Ghana Growers may add stronger account controls, permissions, and data management tools.
